I breed Koi Fish and your comment on stupid fish is unwarranted. Fish are far from stupid and I have a video to prove it. My son's pond pump went off and some fish died. He brought one who was almost dead to my pond for help. The other fish held it up, moved with it, took it to the air outlet time and again and stayed with it until it regained its breath. Even then they kept swarming around it to make sure it was okay. Definitely not stupid and no human intervention needed!!
