Update: Mark asks whether there’s an American museum in Maryland. It’s a collection, not a museum. I write about my visit there in Parasite Rex. A wonderfully creepy place, but no parasite-entombing keychains for sale.

  1. My friend Mike visited that parasite museum a couple years back. I gotta see if I can get his pictures. . . Aha! Here is the 28-foot tapeworm; next to the display case is a coat hangar attached to a 28-foot ribbon, so you can see just how long 28 feet really is.
